Advertising, listings & pricing
Two kinds of listing
The directory has an organic tier and a featured tier, and we keep them visibly separate:
- Organic listings are the tools we research and add ourselves. Within a category they are ordered alphabetically, we don't score or rank them, and every fact cites a public source. You cannot pay to change an organic listing's facts or position, and you cannot pay to be added to one.
- Free submitted listingsget their own page in the directory, findable by name and by search. We don't add self-submitted tools to the category guides: which tools appear in a guide is an editorial decision, and buying a place in one is what the Featured tier is for.
- Featured listings are paid. A vendor pays for placement in the categories they genuinely fit, boosted to the top with a richer profile, and the placement carries a visible Featured label everywhere it appears.
A featured listing is also presented differently, and we'd rather state it than let you infer it. Because the vendor supplies and confirms the detail themselves, a featured listing carries a Vendor-verified label and shows their own material in place of the “Things to check” list we compile for organic listings from public sources. Vendor-verified means the vendor confirmed the details and we checked them against the sources cited on the page. It does not mean we tested the product: we don't do hands-on testing, on any listing, paid or not.
Pricing
Two ways to appear: a free self-serve listing, or a Featured listing built to get you in front of buyers who are asking an AI assistant what to buy.

Built for AI visibility: getting your product into the pages an assistant reads when a buyer asks it to recommend tools in your category.
- Placement in every category you genuinely fit, plus the comparison and “best of” pages that assistants quote from
- Inclusion in our llms.txt and structured data, so your entry is machine readable, not just human readable
- Verified, expanded profile with your logo, screenshots, links and specifics such as pricing, which is what gets quoted
- A labelled Featured slot on competing products’ pages
- Top-of-category placement and homepage inclusion
What we can promise is placement in the pages assistants read. No one can promise a particular answer from a particular model, and we don't.
Become featuredCategories are always subject to genuine fit: paying gets your tool reviewed and placed where it belongs, never somewhere it doesn't. We'll tell you which categories we can support before you pay.
Why a directory listing is an AI visibility play
A growing share of tool research now starts with a question to an assistant rather than a search box. Ask one to recommend tools in a category and it rarely answers from vendor websites. It answers from the sources it treats as independent: directories, comparison pages and “best of” lists.
That is what this site is. Our categories, comparisons and best-of pages are published as structured data and summarised in llms.txt for exactly this purpose, and they are among the pages assistants pull from when someone asks what to buy. You can do everything right on your own domain and still be missing from that answer, because your own domain is not usually where the answer comes from.
Being listed puts you in that pool. It does not guarantee any particular assistant says any particular thing, and anyone promising otherwise is selling you something they cannot deliver. Our organic listings are free and unaffected by any of this.
