What is Opsis OSINT?
Opsis OSINT is a subscription platform that searches a username, email address or domain across public sources and cross-references the results. The vendor states the service comprises over 700 modules covering username lookups, email enrichment, and domain WHOIS and DNS, and that a match requires real profile signals such as an avatar, display name or structured data rather than treating any HTTP 200 response as a hit. The terms of service identify the operator as Opsis LLC, a Minnesota limited liability company confirmed as active in the Minnesota Secretary of State registry. Its acceptable use policy permits licensed investigation, corporate due diligence, threat intelligence, law enforcement, journalism and academic research, and prohibits stalking, harassment, doxxing and FCRA, GLBA or DPPA-regulated screening. The privacy policy states searches are logged with account identifier, query, timestamp and IP address.
- ✓ The operator is verifiable in a government registry: the Minnesota Secretary of State confirms Opsis LLC as active and in good standing, file number 1643670600029
- ✓ The acceptable use policy is specific and restrictive, expressly prohibiting stalking, harassment, doxxing, and employment, tenant and credit screening
- ✓ Accountability is built in: the privacy policy states every search is logged with account identifier, query, timestamp and IP address
- ✓ The vendor states matches require real profile signals rather than counting any HTTP 200 as a hit, which addresses the usual false-positive problem in username enumeration
- • The headline source count is inconsistent across channels: the vendor advertises 700+ modules while a third-party OSINT directory lists 150+ platforms, and no module list or methodology is published for either figure
- • No independent verification of quality exists: no reviews were found on G2, Capterra, Product Hunt or Trustpilot, and no GitHub, Reddit or Hacker News discussion
- • Very new: the Minnesota LLC was filed in April 2026 and the domain was created in February 2026
- • No named individual is accountable for the service; the vendor about page states the team is currently one person and names nobody
- • Search credits are capped tightly relative to price, at 100 searches per month on the $49.99 tier
