What is Prompt Security?
Prompt Security is an AI security platform now owned by SentinelOne and sold within its Singularity Platform. SentinelOne's product page says it discovers shadow AI use across 15,000+ AI tools and services, redacts sensitive data in real time, blocks adversarial prompts with a real-time AI firewall, tests homegrown applications for prompt injection, jailbreaks and data poisoning before deployment, and maps agents and MCP servers so they operate only within a defined scope; it also covers code assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor and Claude Code. The prompt.security site now routes platform and demo links to sentinelone.com and hosts three tools: Prompt Fuzzer (open source, MIT), ClawSec (open source, AGPL-3.0-or-later) and OneClaw. Prompt Security was founded in 2023 by Itamar Golan and Lior Drihem and is based in Tel Aviv; SentinelOne announced the acquisition on 5 August 2025 and a later SentinelOne release reported it completed on 5 September 2025 for approximately USD 180 million in cash and stock. Pricing is not published.
