What is Straiker?

Straiker describes itself as The Agentic AI Security Company and sells three products: Discover AI, which inventories agents, tools, MCP servers and Claude Skills and monitors their security posture; Ascend AI, which continuously red teams agents for prompt injection, MCP tool misuse and data exfiltration; and Defend AI, runtime guardrails that block prompt injection, data leakage and tool manipulation. Coverage spans coding agents (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code), productivity agents (Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, Salesforce Agentforce) and custom agents on AWS Bedrock, Azure AI Foundry, LangChain and MCP, with Discover AI also covering Microsoft Copilot Studio. Defend AI installs via API, SDK, webhook or an AI sensor, and Help Net Security reported an optional inline gateway mode for blocking. The company is headquartered in Mountain View, California, with an office in Bengaluru, was co-founded by Ankur Shah (CEO, formerly of Palo Alto Networks Prisma Cloud) and Sreenath Kurupati (CTO, formerly of Akamai), launched from stealth in March 2025 with $21 million and raised a $64 million Series A in June 2026 for $85 million in total. It holds SOC 2 Type II and ISO/IEC 27001 certifications, and its AWS Marketplace SaaS listing shows $100,000 for a 12-month platform contract.

Best for: Enterprises running a mix of coding, productivity and custom agents that want discovery, testing and runtime blocking from one vendor.
