What is VaultDB?

VaultDB is a proprietary encrypted database engine written in Rust, supplied as a crate that links into the buyer's own process with no network or hosted service. Each record is encrypted with AES-256-GCM under its own key, access grants are scoped to nodes and their subtrees, and every write and export read is appended to an audit chain that can be verified without a key. It also supports blind prefix and exact match search over a bucketed index, and crypto shred erasure. Evaluation licences are free of charge on request, while commercial licence pricing is not published. It is made by Clavitor LLC, a Florida limited liability company filed in April 2026 with a principal office in St Petersburg, Florida, whose licence terms apply Swiss law with the courts of Zürich as venue.
