What is Pindrop?

Pindrop is an Atlanta company, founded in 2011, that analyses voice, device, behaviour and network signals to authenticate callers and detect fraud in contact centres and video meetings. Its Passport product authenticates known callers passively and is positioned for use before sensitive actions such as money movement. Protect scores call risk in real time at the IVR and the agent, and Pulse detects synthetic and deepfake voices, which Pindrop says takes as little as two seconds. The contact centre products run on supported CCaaS platforms, and since February 2026 they have been available through native integrations across NiCE CXone, where NiCE customers can buy them directly. Pindrop states it is trusted by 14 of the top 20 banks. Its trust centre lists ISO/IEC 27001:2022, SOC 2 Type 2 and PCI DSS v4.0.0.

Best for: Banks that take or confirm transfer requests by phone and want caller authentication and deepfake voice checks inside their contact centre platform.

Pros

  • Available through native integrations across NiCE CXone and can be purchased directly through NiCE
  • Lists integrations with Genesys, Five9, Amazon Connect, Cisco, Zoom, Webex and Microsoft Teams
  • Trust centre lists ISO/IEC 27001:2022, SOC 2 Type 2 and PCI DSS v4.0.0

Things to check

  • Covers phone and video meeting channels; its product pages do not describe verifying payments initiated in online or mobile banking apps
  • Contact centre products are designed for supported CCaaS platforms, so coverage depends on the bank's telephony setup
